Suggest a name!
Is there a name that you really, really think deserves to be in this site's database and you can't believe it's been overlooked? Post it here and I'll check it out for the next name update (coming soon). You can also suggest a user-submitted name that you think needs to be moved into the main repository.
For the purposes of this thread let's stick with one suggestion each.

Is it too late to suggest one?
Is it too late to suggest Feodosia / Feodosiya?
Feodosiy is in the database, but the female versions aren't.
The Feodosia spelling is also the name of a city in Ukraine.

Sorry, but it is too late now
I started the update yesterday evening. Generating the name relations takes several hours to complete so there's no going back at this point!

I typically don't include double names unless they have an established history of being used together. Can you (quickly) suggest another?
Ozana from the user-submitted database

Isabeau
Seconded!
Mozelle, moved from user-submitted to main repository.

Thatcher
Ellington
Mehrnaz. I love it so much.
Thank you everyone! Great suggestions. Those are all interesting names.
Kellen, Kellan and Clementine had in fact already been added to the latest update so they were easy. :)

I'm going to suggest Lady.
It is an English title but it seems the majority of its usage in Latin America.
Even though it has been used since at least the late 19th to early 20th centuries in that part of the world, much of its usage occurs from 1981 onwards.
See Ecuador for example: http://aplicaciones3.ecuadorencifras.gob.ec/VDATOS2-war/paginas/vrad/nom_ape.xhtml
Regarding how the name performed in that country, it jumped in popularity when Diana married Prince Charles in 1981 and again in 1997 and 1998 after her death. Looking through some FamilySearch records from Peru, some of the women with this name after 1981 were given the full name 'Lady Diana' or some variant in her honour.

Simran
It charts in the UK and in Canada. Why not have Simran?

I wouldn't mind seeing the anglicised Graeco-Roman name Diadumenian in the History section. It was, after all, the name of a Roman emperor from the 3rd century AD.
Merope
Adner
This name is exceptionally rare, as you can see on this graph of the "beyond the top 1000" data: https://www.behindthename.com/top/beyond.php?name=Adner&gender=&type=sample
It was given to only 6 people in the US in 2006 and 2008, and less than 5 every other year. As such I don't think it belongs in the main database. Can you suggest another?

Ah, alright. Fair enough. (: No harm done. I guess I'll maybe go with Ridge. That one I know is at least being used. (Within the top 1000 and is steadily rising). It's the only one I can think of that might qualify. If that one isn't good either, I appologize.

Clementine (not Clémentine).
Kellen
Second this
Plus the spelling Kellan
Plus the spelling Kellan
Agreed! I keep completely forgetting that they aren't included into the main database of this site, particularly the spelling of Kellan. /:

I have a nephew named Kellan, brother to Isabelle. It has such a trendy sound.
I think Huxley should be added to the main name database.
Sivan
Zephaniel
Marysia: it's been submitted by someone but the entry is wrong. It's a Polish diminutive of Maria, and it's pronounced ma-RI-sha.
That's pretty! I've also thought similar Marylise was attractive.
Afsoon
Man I can't believe you made me choose just one! xD
