In and of itself, I think Drusilla is gorgeous. Unfortunately, I equate it with one of the Ugly Stepsisters in Cinderella.
I like the nickname Dru.

I don't like the "droo" / "dru" sound, and the silla ending is too frilly.

I think it's gorgeous. Even without the Buffy association it still has a gothic, slinky, dark, mysetrious sort of vibe... my immediate association is actually Caligula's sister lol. I love the nicknames Dru and Sil, not as keen on Cilla.

Well it's definitely strange but I think it sounds alright for a fictional character for a specific genre or setting. I STRONGLY associate the name with the character from Buffy (Spike & Drusilla will forever come to mind) On an actual person, it would likely lead to a number of raised brows though.
