By sound alone, I'd say Charlize, which really is beautiful. However, I'm not even sure how popular it is in South Africa - and outside of South Africa, it's synonymous with Charlize Theron. Not a bad association, just an unshakeable one.
Scarlett has actually managed to shake the immediate O'Hara association, so I'd have to choose Scarlett in this case.

I guess Charlize, though neither is that great. Scarlett is just too showy, almost like a pet's name, but Charlize is a name that's only a name because of one famous bearer.
Honestly, I can't see the appeal of either of them. Scarlett is silly and Charlize looks genetically modified. But at least it features two actual names, so Charlize it is.
I heartily dislike Charlotte, don't mind Charlize as much, and have a friend named Charlene which makes me almost fond of it. But I've never heard her called Charlene, except at school by the teachers! Then, she was Charles; now she's become Charlie.

Neither is quite my style, but I'd choose Scarlett. Charlize is a name I think people have heard (Charlize Theron), but I think she'd still be correcting people with "no, not Charlie" constantly.
