Arvada
Has anyone ever heard of the name Arvada or a baby named this? I know it is a city in Colorado...yes...yes...a place name. Anyhow...is this off limits or a no-no? How do you pronounce it...the way it looks...R-VAH-DAH?

One should point out that the city of Arvada, Colorado was named after a person -- in this case Hiram Arvada Haskin. So it was one baby's middle name at least while Hiram was a baby!

I would never use it just because it sounds like Avada Kedavra, the spell in Harry Potter that kills people!

No I haven't heard it, Sorry!
I'd pronounce it "Are-ah-duh"
No name is "Off limits" But I personally wouldn't use it. Viva La Backlavah! (Dag's flag)

Is Arvada a nice town though may I ask???

Not really. It's just one area of the sprawl that is Denver, not so much it's own "town" really. It's an older kind of run down area for the most part.
