Most people I know use Jack if their full name is Jonathan. However as I’m in Scotland those who’s given name is John tend to be known as Ian/Iain. However one man in my own family was known as big John was actually James

Hunh! Are there other names in Scotland where someone whose legal name is English will be called by the Scottish version, or is it just John?
