It has a nice sound, but it feels insubstantial, like a French diplomat's hypochondriac daughter.

It’s one of my absolute favorites!
Bonus that it’s the name of one of my favorite video games that has an incredible story.

I knew a very sensible, down-to-earth Celeste once; she was a biology teacher and sang in amateur productions of Gilbert and Sullivan. She never forgave her parents for giving her "such a sentimental name", and would only answer to Sally.Apart from her, my only association is with Babar's wife, the Queen of the Elephants, and with my friend's kitten, which she got when she was about six and named after the elephant because it was grey ... it soon became known as Kitty.I find it over-ambitious.

I love it! It's on our list and in our top 5 for a girl. I love the meaning and just think it has a soft, sweet vibe to it. I also like that it's not incredibly common but it's still familiar.

I love it. It’s my sisters middle name.
I wanted to use it for our daughters middle name, but my husband didn’t want to offend any of the other aunties... he has a sister and sister in law as well.
Phooey :)

Love it. Gorgeous sound that goes perfectly with a beautiful meaning. Not overused, which is a plus.

I like it. It's classy and .. well.. celestial :)The only down side is that it's a bit heavy on the -s- sound.
