I like it Tamsin (as well as the variant Thomasina and the similar sounding Tasnim) lot, it sounds unconventional and very English. The full form is much better than nicknames such as Tammy. Names I think have a similar "feel" are:
Annika
Astra
Briony
Bryony
India
LyraOther names beginning with t I like are Theodora, Theodosia and Theophania.

I love the meaning of Tasnim "a spring in paradise," but I don't have enough of a connection with Arabic culture to really consider using it.Briony/ Bryony is cute and does have a similar feel.

Tamsin has a short I sound. Tasnim is tas-NEEM. They look alike but don't sound alike.
