Like all three but prefer Carys for visual, sound, feel, and meaning.

Chloe - has always sounded very spoilt and mean girl-y to me. It's a shame, because when you strip away those associations, it has a pleasant sound and lovely meaning.
Carys - I prefer Cerys - it's softer-sounding - even if Carys is more immediate.
Carolyn - dated. I do love Caroline, which is also dated, but less... specifically, if that makes sense.

So I would choose Chloe, in a vacuum. Carys is too popular here for me to use and I dislike the spelling of Carolyn.

Chloe, it’s sweet, international, has a history and a good meaning.

Chloe! I prefer the Charis spelling, and Carolyn is way dated.

Hard choice. I like all of them but wouldn't use them. Chloe is nice but it is similar to the German slang word for toilet (Klo). It doesn't bother me because I could see past this but not sure if everyone around me could do this too. Carys is close to the German word for cavities but not so super close that it would be a huge problem for me. Carolyn is nice and elegant but feels dated and many many girls here are named Karolin, Carolin, Caroline, Karoline and some Karola, Carola or Carolina, Karolina. The common nickname is Caro and there are Caros everywhere. So it's a bit boring. The first two have better meanings. I guess I would go with Carys. It is not so common and the meaning is nice. Second Chloe, then Carolyn.

Chloe. Carys is alright, and I'd consider awarding it the first place ex aeuqo with Chloe, were it not unfamiliar to me. Carolyn, on the other hand, is dreadful. I adore Caroline, but the Lyn ending does it no justice.

Definitely Chloe. It’s bright, cheerful, and sweet.

Chloe is quite nice, but doesn't somehow speak to me.
Carys I was not at first sure how to say it, and at first glance I read it as "Gary".

Carolyn. I don't really love it, but it's nice enough. Chloe sounds like wet nose-blowing or somebody's fluffy stuffed kitten, and Carys sounds like rottten teeth.

Oh definitely Carys. I love it. It's beautiful. Chloe isn't awful, but I find it cloying (probably because of the sound) and Carolyn is dull. I love Caroline, but that change in the last syllable makes a huge difference to me.

I don't mind Carys for someone else, or for someone else's child. But that's as far as I go. Perhaps it sounds too close to Carissa, which is positively sugary.

Carolyn didn't replace Caroline for long; I far prefer Caroline which is timeless and elegant. Carolyn is perhaps more playful and light-hearted, but the resemblance to Marilyn makes it seem dated and, well, less than exclusive.

Chloe! It's never taken off where I live, so that isn't a factor. I love it for its sound, its look and its meaning; given enough daughters, I'd use it contentedly.
