I love the association with the Biblical Queen of Sheba and the hereditary queens of Ethiopia. Unfortunately, I really dislike the nickname Candy; it's too flimsy, artificially sweet, and a bit tacky. Does anyone know of a good nickname for Candace that isn't Candy?

Ace is actually really cute as a nickname. I wouldn't have considered it.

There's Dacey or Dacy. I was thinking that I'd come up with this myself and it was stupid because it's not intuitive with the way Candace is usually pronounced, but then I looked it up and this site has it as a nickname for Candace.

I guess you could use Casey. Not a huge fan personally but some people might be.
