I don't care for both names starting with M, but they aren't horribly cutesy together, imo. I love Matilda, btw.

I'm reading a book now that is based in the 1300's and the main female character is Magdalen. I had never heard of the name before the book and I've totally fallen in love with the name.

Sorry but I don't like Matilda. All I do is think of the movie and I still don't like it even without that thought.

I wouldn't personally do it, but they're both gorgeous names and they don't sound too similar, so I don't see why not. In England I see tons of Lily and Daisy sibsets, so Magdalen and Matilda would be very refreshing.

I like both names. But I also don't think that twins "need" their names to start w/ the same letter. But they do sound cute together. :)

This is just me and I don't like either names, but they are good together.

I definitely like the pair even though they're a wee bit similar. But because both names are strikingly beautiful, I'll forgive that. :)

I love both names, especially Matilda, but they're much too matchy to be sisters, and are awful as a twinset.
