Re: Heather
in reply to a message by A
I just hate it. And I always feel bad saying so, because I have niece by the name of Heather, and she has that name because her mother, my sister, thought it was "such a beautiful name", and I love my sister. But I cannot tell a lie. I don't see the appeal. It sounds so harsh to me. And then there's the fact that it was so wildly popular and then when it fell, it fell hard, so it's ultra dated now and there are a plethora of women named Heather. What people thought of Gladys starting in the 1940s and continuing to the present day, is what they started thinking of Heather in the 2000s, and that will continue for many many years if not forever, and that's not a good thing.
