Gosh this is hard! I love the name Layla and i would love it for a future DD but it doesnt fit as well as the other names and Pierre prefers leela (Leila)

Seems like you might get away with Lela for LAY-la too, like Lena (LAY-na)?
Or Leyla.. that's nicer looking than Layla to me. Hmm.
Of course, not everyone is so willing to get creative with spellings as I am =)
eta - wow, both those spellings are in the database - and they're even both for Leila (pronounced LAY-la)!
