I've never cared for it. It just sounds whiny to me - I always want to draw it out in a childish way like "but ME-uhhhhh!" while stamping my foot. If that makes any sense.

That said, it's certainly not the worst name out there and I wouldn't think much of it one way or the other if I heard it on someone else.
