Lydia isn't really my style, however, I'll admit that it has a nice sound to it. I've only known one, a little girl at church under the age of 10.

I like it. It's actually a little dark as well as ladylike. I used to think it was a middle-aged woman name and associated it with things like Karen and Cynthia, but now I like it.

I like Lydia, though I might prefer Lidia for some reason. Kind of like Sylvia and Silvia. The name has common usage, is feminine and isn't hard to say, either spelled Lydia or Lidia.

It’s okay. I don’t have any strong feelings one way or the other.

Lydia is a beautiful timeless name. I also like that the Biblical association was a successful businesswoman and leading church founder.

It's meh. I know everyone loves it but it does nothing for me.

I absolutely adore Lydia. I think it has such a romantic, pretty sound without being in your face or frilly. My partners complaint about Lydia is that it is a meth dealer in Breaking Bad, so I think its still on the table for a future babe.

Lydia sounds like a ninny to me because of the Pride and Prejudice character. Beyond that, I associate it with antiquity, beige, and Beetlejuice.

I love it, and I loved it back in the 1980s when few others were into it, so I give myself credit as a visionary for that reason. Also, my stepmother once said she hated it, and that means it must be great.

I cannot get enough of this gorgouse and classic name. This is the name that I would have used for a potential daughter without a second thought but unfortunately, that now seems very unlikely as I firmly believe that "Sylvia" (my niece) & Lydia would be too matchy for direct cousins ); Grrr
I am planning on adopting a pair of cats within the next couple of months and one of the names will absolutely be Lydia. So in a way, I still get to use the name even though it wasn't my original intent.

Very pretty. It’s only a hop skip and jump from Olivia though, sound-wise. I wonder if it will become too popular once people get tired of Olivia but still hold a torch for it.

I think its a beautiful classic name that works for girls and women in all stages of life and the biblical Lydia is a good namesake and a wonderful role model.

Lydia is an old favourite of mine. I rate it 6/10. It has a beautiful and aristocratic vibe but no longer among my faves. I currently find it quite boring.
