Too easily confused with Carol. I actually had a colleague once whose granddaughter was Coral, because the parents had thought that Carol was too common and swapped the vowels.

I absolutely love Coralie, but I think it'd be too fancy for me to use. Coral doesn't appeal at all, by comparison.
