Maggie"? I went to school with someone named that, b. 1998, and no it wasn't her mother's maiden name. I thought it was just incredibly weird. Her surname was Polish and was very obviously not Irish, and I don't know if that made it better or worse. The mother was of Irish descent, and I don't know that if makes it better or worse either.
