Minerva
Sorta trying to branch out a bit with my girls names.. since we literally only like two or three names.
Minerva has always floated around my list a bit, but now i'm wondering if I should consider it further.
I think Theodora & Minerva sound nice as siblings. I like Min/Minnie as a nickname.
Possible combo would be: Minerva Winifred _____? (Surname)
Still trying to come up with 2nd middle names..
What do you think of Minerva?

I'm really liking Minerva.. but husband told me today that he detests it... grr.
Back to the drawing board! Only three more days until we actually find out what we are having, so I might not have to worry about girls names!

Hi !!!
Minerva is a great and stunning name.
I like it since I was a child as it goes perfectly here in Italy despite being so rare.
Minerva Winifred ______ surname would be too heavy imo.
What about using Winifred as 2nd MN?
Minerva Fae Winifred
Minerva Joy Winifred
Minerva Abby Winifred
Minerva Audrey Winifred
Minerva Cloe Winifred
Minerva Ginny Winifred
Minerva Fern Winifred
Minerva Ada Winifred
Minerva Dora Winifred (so the future sisters would share the part 'dora' that means gift)
Minerva Lucy Winifred
Minerva Cora Winifred
Minerva Hattie Winifred
Minerva Dido Winifred
WDYTO them?

I see a Minerva almost daily (co-worker) so I think of her when I hear it. It's a nice name: rare, familiar, versatile, interesting meaning, has sounds I like in it. The 'nerv' stands out to me, but I don't mind that about it; it's nervy, or gives it a bit of an edge. I slightly prefer Minerve but that's not a popular opinion.
I don't really like it with Winifred. The similarity of the beginnings (Min/Win) bugs me.
Minerva Winifred Iris
Minerva Winifred Sally
Minerva Winifred Constance
Minerva Winifred Sybil
Minerva Winifred Cordelia
Minerva Winifred Florence
Minerva Winifred Nancy
Minerva Winifred Marjorie
Minerva Winifred Mabel
Minerva Winifred Margot
Minerva Winifred Cecily
Minerva Winifred Ramona

Minerva is a cool name. I've met real women with this as their name, and it didn't sound "bizarre" in the real world (which can happen with mythological names). Min is good, though Minnie just makes me think of mice.
I adore Minerva! It complements Theodora beautifully.

I'm instantly reminded of Professor McGonagall (good association) and of the word nerve (not so good of an association), which kind of makes the name look like "my nerve!" Because of the latter, I would personally prefer to put the name in the middle name slot. But as far as names go, Minerva isn't bad at all, especially when you look at all the atrocities out there today. So if you like the name, definitely go for it! :)
