WDYTO Kelvin?
Kelvin has always been one of my favorites and I want to know what your thoughts are. Is it usable?

Its one of those names you don't hear much about, positive or negative, and yet I wouldn't call it forgettable. Its nice enough and doesn't have the dated feel of Kevin. The scientific term may put off a lot, though.

very dated to me. What about Calvin

I like it, would totally consider using it

It's fine, but does immediately remind me of measuring temperatures.

It definitely makes me think of think of the temperature scale, but that’s not really a negative association. I much prefer Calvin, and I think that a lot of people will mishear the name as that. Enough to be annoying. But overall, it’s not a bad name.

I've known a couple; one of them was a board member of a very distinguished international company, so it's had exposure!I vastly prefer it to Kevin, but it seems to be trying too hard for exclusivity.

Yeah! a friend had a son named Kelvin. He'd be about 25 now (wow). It's hipper than Calvin but doesn't seem quite hipster, to me. Nerd chic? I think of it as fitting with names like Conrad, Darius, and Sheldon.
