Grover
Does anyone but me like Grover?
I know it's a Muppet, so don't just say it's a Muppet's name. :P
Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I don't like it and I really can't get past the Muppet association
If I heard parents calling a kid “Grover” on the playground, I would assume it was a nickname because he liked the character.
Literally the only other time I’ve heard it is on the president. I have no other frame of reference. No people IRL, no characters in books or movies, not even any pets. Part of that is good, because it makes it a blank slate name that a little cutie could really make his own. But the other part of that is that it shows just how unappealing it must be for the general population. But we all know how silly the general population can be about names.

I like it because it is a Muppet name; as in, if somebody told me their name was Grover, I'd smile because I happen to love Grover Monster, but I would never want to give Grover to a human. A pet might be fun.
I would always want to tack on "Lovable furry old" in front of Grover.

Aw, I was literally just going to say "...yeahhhhhhhh, he's just a Muppet"!
But even without that association, I think of President Cleveland (never liked history or politics)...always something, huh? lol

My husband lovees it! He would seriously use it. I'd consider it for a middle name.
I like Grover, it feels a bit nerdy though. But it would be lovely to see it on a little boy.
I like it! I honestly don't even think of the muppet when I hear it. I really like its sound and imagery & I feel like it could definitely make a comeback in the future, especially as the muppet association fades even more.
I love it! It's handsome and evocative of groves (of course).
