Also I'm bothered by wanting to know whether she says it tim-o-THEE-a, or tim-o-TAY-a. I'd naturally tend to say it -TAY-a, and -THEE-a sounds weird to me. Anyway, TH prn T never agrees with me, so I'd also want to spell it Timotea.

I like it, but it's one of those better on paper names, for me. I can't see myself ever giving it to a real person.

I dislike it for the same reason I dislike Timothy - I'm just not a fan of the sound of the first two syllables. I do appreciate the darker, "baroque" style of Timothea, though.
