If Liv was a nn for Olivia, that would be my choice. But not as a stand-alone name.
I prefer Eve to Eva. Usually I feel that if someone has a longer version of a name, like Eva, then they can use either it or the nn, in this case Eve. But Eve just seems so much more friendly and sophisticated than Eva!
