Eve is a name on my long list anyway, featuring intermittently in my Top 10 too. I used to like it only as a full name but more recently I like it as a nickname for Genevieve. I don't like Evelyn.

Would definitely prefer Eve. Liv is just a nickname for Olivia and imho doesn’t stand on its own. Eva is nice but I like how Eve is one syllable.

I prefer Eve to Eva. Usually I feel that if someone has a longer version of a name, like Eva, then they can use either it or the nn, in this case Eve. But Eve just seems so much more friendly and sophisticated than Eva!

Given the choice between Liv and Eve, I would definitely go with Eve. I love the name Eve, always have and it was a name we had on our list for our DD. Ultimately, Eden had been our top choice for years, so we couldn't miss the chance to use it. Given the choice between the three options you listed, I'd go with either Eve or Eva, because I adore both versions. For me it would depend on the mn and surname that needed to be considered.

I like Eve and Eva, but Liv beats them both for me. Between Eve and Eva though, I would have to go with Eva.
