Sunrises are pretty, but it's one of the ugliest sounds imo. I think it suffers from association with Don, Donna, Donald.

Sentimental. And dated. Wouldn't touch it, and wouldn't expect to meet one younger than 45.

This is my sister's name:Dawn Rose. I think that it is pretty, and unique.

It's a decent name. Not good or bad. In my experience it has been more common as a middle name, though I think it's more suited to being a first name.

It’s alright. A pretty concept, I see why it was popular. It feels sort of masculine to me - like Don.

Love it. I wouldn't have minded having this name for myself.

It could be really charming on the right person. Unfortunately the Dawns I have met were a bit unpleasant. Loud and a bit aggressive. I don`t really like the strong aw-sound that much either and in some accents it sounds unattractive while in others it`s kind of lovely. I like the meaning. I haven`t heard it used too much as a middle name but it feels kind of bland in the middle anyway. It needs to be paired with something classic and needs to be used as a first name. Then it could be charming. I`d like something like Dawn Beatrice, Dawn Juliana, Dawn Victoria or Dawn Lilia.

It's my mother in law's name and my husband really wanted to use it for a daughter. I finally told him I didn't want to name our children after any living people (because if we name a kid after your mom, don't you think my mom, my dad, your dad might want a baby named after them too?)
