Declan, Deacon, and Duncan all kind of fall into this same group of "meh" boys names. They're ok, they'll suit someone fine throughout their life, and they do nothing for me.

I have seen it spelled as Deklan which I think is really bad (even Deklyn is better). Every time I see it spelled that way I say "He's in de Klan."
