Boyish Nicknames On Girls
Riffing off Dracotorix's post about girly nicknames on boys, I thought I would ask your thoughts on boyish nicknames on girls!
Here are some that I really like:
Imogen nn Mo
Charlotte nn Chuck
Theodora / Theodosia nn Theo or Teddy
Genevieve nn Jeeves (GP)
Louisa / Louise nn Lou
Winifred nn Fred / Freddie
So what are your thoughts on this nicknaming practice? If you like it, what are some that you like?

Current favorites:
Ephraim / Tristram / Nathaniel / Callum
Cordelia / Winifred / Edith / Theodora

Well my daughter is Theodora and she gets Theo a lot. I actually have stopped using it because I actually love Theodora by itself. (She can now say Theodora but the way she says it is Theo Dora, like it's two seperate names. So insanely cute).
Winifred "Winnie or Fred" is top of our list if we have a girl. However, i'm not going to introduce a nickname so quickly again!

I really like Theodora and I LOVE Winifred. I've said it before, but if we ever have a daughter, we plan on naming her Cordelia, and I've said that I think Cordelia and Winifred would be the sweetest sister-set, if we had two girls, but my husband isn't keen. He likes Sarah, which I prefer as a middle. Rambling. Anyway, I like the nn Winnie, as well as Fred / Freddie.
I love teddy as a nickname for Theodora
I actually really like it. There are quite a few boyish nns that I think are boring on boys, but sound cool, tough and feisty on girls. That’s not to say that traditionally girls names can’t have the same effect, but very much due to characters, they easily give that vibe and have grown on me. A few I like:
Alex (Alexandria)
Bill/Billie (Wilhelmina, Sybil, Sybilla)
Bobby (Roberta)
Frankie (love on a girl, dislike on a boy)
Charlie
Sam (Samara, Samira)
Teddy (Theodora)
Rory (Aurora)
Jo (Joanna)
Sam (Thomasina)
