Frankie
I'm really loving this on a boy. It wouldn't be short for Frank just Frankie on it's own. Do you think it would age well though? I can imagine it on a little boy but not a fully grown man.

Not as a given name. I'd rather use Franklin, Frank, Francisco, or Francesco.

I know a guy named Frank, Frankie was his nn, but it stayed with him forever. He's an adult now, it still works, so go for it if you like it. I don't like the name Frank, but I think Frankie is ok.

Frank, Francis, Francisco, etc are as nice as Frankie is--please consider using one of those with Frankie as a nickname.Much as I love Frankie (on either sex), I don't think it can stand alone.Array
