It's one of my friend's mom's names, so I'd feel strange about using it myself but it's a nice sound. It had a nice little jump from 2015 to 2016, I'll be interested to see if that continues. It's kind of between being a mom and a grandma name so it's not getting the traction older names like Eleanor are getting, even though it lends to crazy-popular Ellie really well.It also makes a really good, easy to pair middle, it has that same two-syllable, emphasis-on-the-second rhythm that Marie has.

You stated it perfectly - " It's kind of between being a mom and a grandma name"I confused the hell out of the dad, though. I heard Elaine and Eleanor and without thinking I asked if he was into Arthurian Legends, even though Eleanor isn't used. HE had no idea what I was talking about. :-D
