Re: New Royal Baby is a Boy!

I am truly not certain what I believe they will pick as a fn but it's extremely likely that Michael and Philip will be in there somewhere, possibly as a fn but probably more likely as a mn. Another possible mn might be William although I feel like they are more likely to use Michael and Philip as mn's but if Philip or Michael is the fn William might be a mn. Edward and John are also strong contenders for a mn.
I think they might use Arthur, Albert, Alfred, or Frederick but if they do not use one of those as a fn then it probably won't be a mn. Arthur or Albert could possibly be used as a mn but only if Michael or Philip is a fn but I think other names like Edward or John are more likely to be used as mn's in that scenario.
Other possibilities are; John, James, Thomas, Francis, Peter, Henry, Edward, Edmund, David, and Andrew. They might use Jack as a nn for John.
Kate and Will definitely seem to like traditional names and family names but it is hard to predict what they will go with. Since this child is unlikely to be the heir they might even be able to get away with something like Oliver.
Yesterday my husband told me that he thinks they will name their son Edward. He also told me that he hopes that they don't use the name Arthur because Prince Arthur seems weird and it should be King Arthur. Then he went on to tell me that he hopes Prince George's first child is a son named Arthur so that he will eventually be King Arthur. :P He also hopes that they don't use the name Arthur because he is worried it will become popular in the US, I personally doubt it will become popular in the US anytime soon. We may name a son Arthur in the not too distant future so it would suck if it became super popular in the next few years.
I keep changing my mind on what I think they will name their baby but I personally hope that it is Frederick because the nn's Fred and Freddie are so cute. George, Charlotte, and Frederick would be nice, although I also really like George, Charlotte, and Henry. George, Charlotte, and Arthur or Albert or Alfred or Francis or Thomas or Edward or David or Michael or Philip are all nice as well.
If I absolutely had to place a bet it would be on Arthur Michael Philip or maybe Arthur Philip Michael.

That would be nice. I do hope that George's first child is a daughter because I'd personally like there to be another Queen. Or maybe he'll abdicate the throne to Charlotte for some reason, that would be cool.
Although we'll see if the British monarchy is even still around at that point.
