I think Robin and especially Robyn is adorable, very bright and cheerful. I don't like it on a boy, it's not the usual thing in the US though I understand it's much more common in the UK. For a boy, Robert is the way to go.
I think I just very slightly prefer Robin, but don't dislike Robyn.
