I think it's pretty lame, and also dated, like a holdover from the days when you might not know you were having twins till you had them. (My stepfather was a twin born in 1950 and his mother knew ahead of time, so that's a pretty long while ago.)
I like Kyra, but spell it Kira, it's my niece's name. The others I don't like at all, and I'm unclear whether they're to be pronounced all the same way.
I say Kyra as Keera, same as Kira. Lyra as Leera, I think. Myra and Tyra as Meye-ra and Ty-ra.
