I like it. Yes, it makes me think of an orange, but it's not my one and only association, it's not very strong, so I don't really care about it. I think Clementine is very cute and although it's a classic, it's unique. I like the nickname Clemmie, or Emmie, but Clemmie is better for Clementine. One thing I don't like about it is that I don't like when -ine names are pronounced as -ien, I prefer them as -een, but I guess Clementine is most often pronounced cle-men-TIEN. I can't say it makes me dislike the name totally, but takes away quite a lot of its charm.
