I met one earlier this year through online gaming. He's French (he told me his name is really trendy in France). He's 19 (Nolan was #227 in France the year he was born).

I think of Nolan Ryan the former baseball player. And then I think of the massive trend to name boys this. I’d say pass.

It's alright but too trendy... my cousin has a baby boy named Nolan.

I think it’s kind of yucky. It lacks much substance and I feel like it’s just another trendy surname as a first name.

It's okay. It always makes me think of the baseball pitcher Nolan Ryan. My sister has a friend who has twin sons named Nolan and Patrick. I always want to call them Nolan and Ryan, lol.

Nolan sounds so handsome and dignified. Also, it's a wonderful, underused classic name. A nice alternative to the commonly used, Noah (though I find that name nice as well)
