1. It's a middle name which means plenty of people will never know it. Please yourself before you please the masses.2. I think of Dorian Gray before I think of Christian Grey, no matter the spelling. (Actually, I didn't think of Christian Grey at all and I'm sure before this child is in school or anything, no one will give a damn or even really remember 50 Shades anymore.)3. I prefer Grey personally. I think it looks a little more namelike. Maybe because as an American, I see Grey in people's surnames, but Gray is a color.
I like it and I'd use it, especially if I'd loved it for many years.
