I LOVE the name Lulu! I like it as a nn or a full name. This was actually our other option for Eden, but DH preferred Eden. My fave full name would be Louisa.

My daughter's name is Lucille. We intended to call her Lucy for short but it never fit and when she was about a year and a half she started referring to herself as Lulu. It wasn't a nickname I ever liked but now I LOVE it. It fits her so well. I hope it's the name she uses the rest of her life, because if she grows to be an adult that feels comfortable going by Lulu I think she'll be a fun loving, free spirit that values happiness above professionalism and material success. But I'm really glad she has a full name to fall back on in case as she ages she feels that it is too childish. Of your list I looove Louisa.

Lulu is adorable. Full names: Lula, Eulalie / Eulalia, Ursula, Julia. :0)

Lulu was the nn of my beloved cat, Louisa May Allcat. I think Lulu is darling, however, I don't view it as a substantial full name.I think Lulu would work as a nn for any of the names you have listed here. I especially like Louisa / Luisa, Lucy / Lucia and even Tallulah.

I think it sounds silly. The name I like most from your list is Lucy, but I wouldn't really call a Lucy Lulu.

I think it's a bit inconsistent as a fn. I like it as a mn for Lucy or Louisa.

It works as a full name. We had a Lulu at our preschool a few years ago, and it suited her and didn't need a longer name.I would personally go for Lucia, but Louisa, Louise and Lucy appeal to me too.

No, I don't like Lulu as a nickname - too cutesy/frilly etc. I don't mind Lula or just Lu / Lou.I would use it as a nickname for Tallulah or Louisa / Luisa. Lucy and Lou don't need nicknames (they are diminutives themselves), and Lucy would be a more natural nn choice for Lucia. Luana is pretty, and I guess Lulu could work.

Lucy is a full name :)

Thanks for pointing that out! I've always assumed it was a nickname for Lucia and other Luc-
names :)

No, on both counts. It sounds like some kind of frantic, hyped-up idiot, or like a yappy, fluffy dog.

I really like Lulu. Bright, happy sounding and sweet. I'd like to say yes to it as a full name, but I think most would find it too immature, so it's one of the few names I probably would only use as a nn. Probably for Tallulah or Lula. I like Lucia (as Loo-see-uh) from your list.
