Re: Middle names for Beatrice
in reply to a message by peonini
My second daughter is Beatrice, nn Bea, so I can speak with some authority!
Beatrice was named after my mother, who had just the one name. (She had a cousin who was Beatrice May, fwiw) We'd used her other grandmother's name for our first daughter. Elizabeth appears on both sides of the family, and DH loves it greatly but does admit that it's inconveniently long and better as a middle. Two down, one to go, because our children have two mns. My mn is Anne, which was a family name itself, and is also much shorter than Beatrice and Elizabeth, so she became Beatrice Elizabeth Anne - and see what the initials spell!
Other ideas:
Beatrice Juliet
Beatrice Ruth
Beatrice Lucinda
Beatrice Jean, or Beatrice Joan

Oh wow, that's adorable! I actually adore Elizabeth as a fn as well, so it's hard for me to put it in the middle name spot. But I do have Beatrice May, Beatrice Ann, and Beatrice Juliet on my list right now! Thanks! (-:
