Lucian / Lucien
What are your thoughts for a boy and how would you pronounce it
~ Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry ~

Both of them will be generally pronounced as LOO-shən in English, which ruins the names for me. But this is the correct English pronunciation, pronounce -cian / cien / tian / tien as shən, like the word "magician".
It is OK in Sebastian / Sebastien but a bit ugly in Lucian / Lucien from my perspective. The French pronunciation LUY-SYEN is very pretty and I quite like the pronunciation LOO-cee-ən which is not standard.
Lucian is stronger and sporting to me and Lucien is a quiet and well-educated type.
Please vote on my lists, thanks!

I say Lu-see-en.
Common-ish name where I live.French pronounciation.
Kind of a middle-aged man's name locally
It's a good name, though.

It's on my list, I like it. It's a handsome name. I say Loo-see-uhn, really not a fan of Loo-shun personally.
I like it! Loo-see-anne or Loo-see-n, depending on the spelling.
