Re: Sansa
Hi Perrine !!!I read George R. R. Martin's books and I saw the series too.Sansa is one of my favourite names of this saga.
This is because at the contrary of the majority of the others it is not a "mispelled name" it is unique and borne for the books..isn't it? Or there is something of this name that I don't know? Has it any association in English or other languages?I think I would not use it anyway.
Not because it is ugly but because I'm not so tied to it to use it on a person.Bruno Dante Davide Fabrizio Flavio Giordano Giorgio Giulio Gregorio Leandro Leone Ludovico Massimo Michele Niccolò Romeo Valentino VittorioAgata Anastasia Cassandra Diana Eleonora Elisabetta Ester Luna Maia Morgana Stella Zoe

Me too but I only read the first three books. I should start reading the fourth one :) Yes, many of the names were variants of names that already exist and I didn't like many of those either. But some were really nice :)Sansa is one of my favorites. I think he made some of the names up. But I think everyone also thought he had made Sansa up. But it seems to have Iranian/Indian roots.I also kind of like Eddard but not enough to use. I know Cersei is just a different spelling of Circe and then Catelyn is a variant of Caitlin. I also kind of like Bran. But I still prefer Harry Potter over Game of Thrones even though I like both :P
