Meliora and Eliora (more)
Meliora has just been suggested to me (thank you again!) and I really like it. It has a nice meaning too. Then there is also Eliora. What do you think of both names? Do you like them better than Eliana?

I like Meliora and Eliora pretty equally, I like Eliana less. I do love all their meanings though.

Meliora is pretty, but I prefer Eliora. I LOVE Eliora! Eliana is gorgeous too. Both Eliora and Eliana have beautiful meanings. We considered using Eliora for Eden, but here in Australia she would always be Ellie, which I don't like. I also didn't want a double E combo of Eden Eliora, even though it doesn't sound bad.

I love Eliora but Meliora sounds really made-up to me.

I like Eliora better than Meliora, and deffo better than Eliana! Meliora just gives me this icky-saccharine-sweet vibe, but Eliora looks and sounds beautiful, and way less popular than Eliana!

I prefer Eliora to Meliora. I don't know why. Meliora sounds...mean...in some way.

Meliora just seems evil. Maybe its because I associate it with words like maleficent. Additionally, melior is a regular word so I'm not into it. I do, however, like Eliora. I like it better than Eliana, which I feel is overused.

Hi !!!Meliora? It seems a strange dialectal word...
I dislike it.I love Eliora!!
I like this sound very much and I'm glad that it is only -ora and not -nora. I love names that have a light-theme meaning!!

I quite like it. It had some usage in Cornwall between the 13th-18th centuries. I've always liked the combo Meliora Faye (or Fay).
