Re: Elizabeth

Never really liked Elizabeth, it's a prissy-sounding mouthful that in spite of its length still seems no more interesting or to have any more personality than Sarah or Mary.
I know of a little Elizabeth who's about three or four. Last I heard she was just called Elizabeth. There were two Elizabeths in my graduating class, one who went by Beth and one who was just Elizabeth. I remember one from elementary school but she went by her middle name which was Jennifer or Jenny, I forget which.
And I've known several Beths and Bettys and Lizzes. I do like Liz, it seems cheerful and down to earth. Beth is okay but not fond of the th ending.
Margot is very pretty and I wouldn't mind Margot Elizabeth; it seems a shame to relegate Margot to the middle. The other combos I don't like because I don't like the first names, and they also sound like an even bigger mouthful than just Elizabeth. Alice Elizabeth is an especially spitty mouthful.
