Brendan is ok. It actually feels a little dated to me. My cousin has a son with this name & I believe he is in his early teens. I'm from the US.

I strongly dislike Brendan, though I have sort of a tendency to dislike Br- names. But I definitely dislike Brendan. It sounds kinda douchey.

I like Brendan a lot. I have a thing for "Br-" boy names though. It sounds like the name of a cool guy--I almost get a "bad boy"-vibe from it, haha. I'm from the US.Names that give me a similar vibe...

I love it, it's got an old fashioned Irish feel to me, as it was never as popular here as Brandon and is mostly found among 60+ men. I'm not religious, but St. Brendan's story is pretty cool.

Brendan has a sunny, friendly, "nice guy" vibe to me. Forever youthful too. It's harder to picture Brendan as an old man. Similar names / vibes:Brian, Hugh, Peter, Evan, Kevin, Cavan, Gavin, Cary, Brett, Daniel, Finn, Jeremy, Heath:0)
