WDYTO Tilda?
Just curious what people think of this name. I know it is a nickname for Matilda, but do you like it on its own?

I like it, however it sounds too much like tilde (~)
Matilda nn Tilda might work better, in my opinion.

I love Matilda, but I'm not as crazy about Tilda for some reason.
:-/ But I do think it can stand on its own. Also, it reminds me of the actress Tilda Swinton, and she's a bit creepy, although she is a great actress. :b (I think her full name is Matilda, btw)ETA: Tilda Swinton's name is Katherine Matilda.~Heather~

Prefer it as a nn for Matilda or Clothilda.

I honestly don't care for Tilda at all. Matilda is nms but I prefer Matilda over just Tilda.

I like it! I'd prefer it as a nn for Matilda (which I love), but it's cute on its own.

I don't like the sound, and it reminds me of tilde (name for ~ ).

I think Tilda can stand alone, but then Tilda is a very popular name for baby girls in Sweden now. Personally I prefer the long version Matilda."But it’s all right now.

Isn't Tilda a brand of rice?

While I don't really like it, I do think Tilda could stand on its own.
