Arthur nicknames
We are considering the name Arthur for our third son. Are there any nicknames that might work? Also - his middle name will be Lock - a family name. Would "Arlo" as a nickname be too much of a stretch?

Art is the most common one I know, and I like it. Artie when they are young. Arlo is a stretch, but technically works.

My choice would be Archie, so I don't think Arlo is too much of a stretch.

I love Arthur! I've also been thinking about potential nicknames for it recently and have been stumped. I've only ever heard Art been used. I don't think Arthur particularly needs a nickname, but I guess Arlo could work.

I like Art and if you are using Lock for mn, I do think Arlo would work.

Our dog's name is Arthur (regret it now as I'd love to use it for a son)We don't really shorten it often, occasionally we call him Arfy. We had wanted to use Artie but we don't.

Hi !!!Arthur is handsome!!!!!It doesn't need any NN imo.
It is already strong and enough short. After that I find Art, Artie and Arlo all horrible.

The only nickname I've ever heard of for Arthur is Art. Arlo might be a bit of a stretch, but I think it can work.
