I like it a lot, and associate it with the kind of beautiful, healthy, blonde, tanned women who - back in the 1950s - would have been photographed on a beach advertising fizzy drinks and dainty, feminine cigarettes!
My gripe is that it only shortens to Rina or Reeny.
And I wouldn't use it because I far prefer Marinus on a boy.
