I like Davy.
Fingal is to me a dog's name.
Harry, Willie and Ned are abbreviations and I would give the child their Sunday name formally.
Hugh is passable.
I have an issue with Roger for some reason.
DO not like Clyde as a first name (it is a river). And although Kyle is better, to me it makes me think of the Kyles of ... somewhere (Bute, Lochalsh).
Malcolm, servant of Colm... I prefer Calum, or Gilliespie, Gillies, Gillian.
I like Angus well enough as a name.
Odhran is not something anyone in Scotland that I know would name their child - artificial and post-hoc.
Walter is not particularly Scottish - though Wattie is a common enough shortened form of a certain generation, now in their 90s.

Odhran - dislike. Even if you don't pronounce the 'd', it still begins with Odd
Davy - only as a short for David
Walter - possibly my least favourite grandpa name
Angus - quite rugged and handsome
William - I love William, and it was my grandfather's name. I'd use it, definitely
Ned - Nice as a nickname for Edward or Edwin
Hugh - I adore Hugh, very handsome
Roger - Fine but nms
Willie - not really usab le in the Uk
Harry - boring
Fingal - dislike
Clyde - dislike more
Malcolm - still more dislike
Kyle - Ugh

My favorites from this list are William and Harry, but I would never use them because I find them too boring. I like the pronunciation of Odhran a lot, but I think it looks too awkward if you're not from Ireland.
I really don't like any of the rest:
Davy - Should just be a nickname for David.
Walter - Sounds meek and geeky and makes me think of Walter Mitty.
Angus - Ugly. Makes me think of steaks and beef cows.
Ned - The worst from this list. Apparently it's a nickname for Edmund or Edward, but I would never guess that from looking at it. I do love Edmund and Edward however!
Hugh - Surprisingly, I actually kind of like the sound, but it looks too short and awkward.
Roger - Cartoonish. All I can think of is Roger Rabbit.
Willie - The worst nickname for William IMO. Also slang for penis.
Fingal - Sounds like finger.
Clyde - Sounds effeminate to me and makes me think of Clydesdales.
Malcolm - I've never liked it. It just looks ugly to me.
Kyle - Ok enough, but overused.
