I want to like it, but it sounds too much like papilloma for me to be okay with it.

I love Paloma and it's a name I;ve brought up to my husband multiple times. I knew a Paloma - she would be 15 now. (Wow!)

Unfortunately DH doesn't like it-- he says that it's an alcoholic beverage and that it reminds him of names like Margarita. I don't agree with him, but I guess it's something to be mindful of.

I think it's beautiful in sound and meaning. Friends of mine named their daughter Amélie Paloma which I thought was gorgeous, even though Amélie is SO popular where they live
