Noelle
I was just reminded of the fact that Noelle was my favorite name a couple of years back. What do you think of Noelle? Only for a Christmas baby?

Nice idea for a Christmas baby but not necessarily just for a Christmas baby

I don't like that thumping rhythm - noWELL! And I know one whose childhood nn was NooNoo, which is enough to put any thinking person off it for life. But I see nothing wrong with Noel as a female name, using the male pronunciation. It's a whole lot more fem than James!

Sometimes..People ask me if my daughter, Carol, was born at Christmas. but no, we just liked the name. I do know a Carol, though, who was born around Christmas, and was named Carol for that reason. I know a few Noelles, Noelllas and a Noelline, who were born on or around Christmas.
Also know some Noels, male, but not well enough to know when they were born. I think you could use Noelle any time of the year, it's a nice name.

I love Noelle. I think I like it more when it isn't near Xmas time. Theme births are a little eyeroll-y for me but not much.

I'm not a fan. It seems dated to me.

I love Noelle, and I think it is fine for even a non-Christmas baby so long as the combo doesn't end up with a Xmas theme.
I have a cousin who has a birthday right around Xmas, and her name is Holly Noelle. Now, it might be a bit cliche, but it's definitely best for a December baby and not , say, a Fourth of July baby.

I like it for a middle name.
