Only one I can think of is Alexandra. I dislike all nicknames for it.

I really like Rebecca, but really dislike the nns Becca and Becky. I'd also say I don't like Reba but you hardly ever hear that in real life so it's kind of a non-issue.
Also really like Candace/Dancie but the nn Candy is so dumb. I've met several Candices and one Candisha, and they all went by Candy, so I kind of wonder if any Candaces go by their full names.
However, I have met a lot more Rebeccas and only some of them go by nns, so I'm inclined to think that most nns are not inevitable.

I recall saying this before, but the only Candice I've ever known always went by her full name.

Adelaide - I agree, this one is really ruined by Addie.
Audrey - doesn't need a nickname, so not a problem! I've never encountered Audreys going by nicknames.
Balthazar - hm, I think that anyone who likes Balthazar would be open to various short forms. None of them would be too conventional or baggagey. ?
Charlotte - no need for a nickname!
Efraim - no need for a nickname
Esther - no need for a nickname
Felicity - ew. yeah.
Florence - yeah, I agree this is ruined
Frances - agree. I feel even more so about Francis (m).
Helen - no need for a nick.
Helena - yeah, I guess if you say it heh-LEN-a and don't like Lena.
Louisa - I'm no fan of Lou either
Sebastian - Bastian's really not that bad. I can't see anyone using anything else in real life. The Sebastians I've known go by Sebastian. It's not longer or more difficult than Adrian, which pretty much never gets nicknamed either.Mine:Conrad, Constance - I really don't like Connie.
Demetria - I like Deitra and Metra but nobody does that, they say Demmy / Demi, ugh.
Marcella
Priscilla
Woodrow
Francis
Victoria (I like Vicky but not Tori)

Conrad, Constance - agree. Con, Connie. Nope.
Demetria - Demi is bad, I agree.
Marcella - Marcy! YeAH, nope.
Priscilla - PRISSY! Definitely ruined. But I DO like Priscilla.
Woodrow - Woody. Any name that suggests a boner is ruined. It's a shame because Woodrow is quite nice.
Edward - Ned? Or he could just go by Edward.
Callista - I like Callista! But you're right, the nns ruin it.

Cecilia (would be on my short list if not for Cece *shudders*)
Margaret (the ones I'm more okay with are less intuitive)Nicholas (That said, DH likes Klaas, a Dutch short form that he got from family history. I'm fine with that and I don't usually like short forms as first names. I just really don't like Nick)
