Often people tell me that they didn't like/don't care about this kind of names. I know that I'm strange but I have some Arabic friends, I'm studying Arabic and I love Asian and African cultures so...I'm interesting in them.

That's HILARIOUS!!! I kind of love the name all the more. I used to know a guy called Nadim and yes....I went drinking with him :-)
There are some really beautiful Arabic names. I feel like it would be pretentious for me to use them if I had children (unless their father were Arabic) because I have absolutely no connection to Arabic culture, but I enjoy seeing them and hearing them
