Re: Jasmine
Here in Germany the usual spelling is Jasmin, for persons with an immagration background, with us the Turkish fellow citizens (our largest foreign fellow citizens group of persons) it is Yasemin, pronunciation yah-se-MEEN.From my personal periphery I knew 3 Jasmin's, my colleague at work Jasmin, 38 years old and two neighbour's childs, at a rough estimate 20 and 8 years old.
I'm used/familar spelling Jasmin without e at the end, so Jasmine, Jazzmine or Yasmine isn't my common style, whereas Jasmina or Yasmina can be done.
Jazmin is the more trendy and up-to-date way of Jasmin, not half bad!
