Jasmine
What you think of Jasmine? I love the flower association but worry that it has become a bit tacky and that people don't really think too much of the flower anymore due to overuse and variant spellings such as Jazzmine and Jazmin. Opinions? Have you met many and how do they spell it? What do you think of Yasmine, Yasmin and Jasmina or Yasmina?

It's pretty, but it's way too common for my tastes.
I think it's a very pretty name and I have met several, though none my own age. The only unusual spelling I can recall offhand was Jasmane. Pronounced just like Jasmine.
I've met more people named Yasmin than I have named Jasmine. I like both, although they're nms.
I wouldn't call it tackier than any other flower name...but, it was trendy in the 90s, and a lot of people associate it with a Disney princess...so if that bothers you, you should probably avoid using it.
I hate the spellings that have a Z (Jazmin, Jazmine, Jazmyn). The other variants are okay, but I prefer Jasmine or Yasmin.

Here in Germany the usual spelling is Jasmin, for persons with an immagration background, with us the Turkish fellow citizens (our largest foreign fellow citizens group of persons) it is Yasemin, pronunciation yah-se-MEEN.
From my personal periphery I knew 3 Jasmin's, my colleague at work Jasmin, 38 years old and two neighbour's childs, at a rough estimate 20 and 8 years old.
I'm used/familar spelling Jasmin without e at the end, so Jasmine, Jazzmine or Yasmine isn't my common style, whereas Jasmina or Yasmina can be done.
Jazmin is the more trendy and up-to-date way of Jasmin, not half bad!

I know 5 Jasmin(e)'s.
Jasmin (male pronounced YASMEEN, he is Arabic, he is around 20)
Jasmine (white British, around 13)
Jasmine (white British, around 25)
Jasmine (white British, 25)
Jasmin (a twin to Jessica, 25)
I also know two Yasmin's, one is of Indian descent and the other is Indonesian. I have met two small girls called Jaslyn / Jazlyn.
I think Jasmine is very beautiful and one of my favourite combos is Mary Jasmine or Maria Jasmine.
